REASONS I LOVE LIVING IN THE SOUTH
reason #1.
pendergrass fleamarket.
you can get some acupuncture.
get your hair lined up.
get a new ceramic baby jesus.
buy a live chicken or turkey. or any number of exotic birds. or any number of breeds of puppy. while we were there, a womens voice of the public address system informed us of a special on red nose pitbull puppies.
or, just enjoy a styrofoam cup packed full of boiled peanuts. a delicacy virtually non-existent outside the south east.
this amazing sign actually wasnt at the flea market. it was on the front door of a western wear/riding supply store. amazing none the less.
i wasnt able to get a picture of the amazing tattoo shop at the flea market, but apparently its perfectly acceptable to allow you children to crawl around on the floor in the room people get tattooed in.
also, the were numerous places to buy nazi flags, statues of mao zedong, supplies for practicing santa ria, socks, produce, flat screen televisions, knives( both kinds. switch blade and butterfly), horchata, bread, and air brushed t shirts. not to mention the seemingly endless supply of people watching.

LIFE.LOVE.REGRET.
the greatest hardcore band of the 90’s will be playing 2 shows in may of 2009. one in chcago and one in sand diego. theyre playing as part of a benefit and all the proceeds are being donated to several charities in the chicago and san diego areas. so its not like a bunch of old dudes slopping it out to a bunch of noobs just to get paid.
i already have a ticket to the chicago show and they have since sold out. i genuinely feel bad for anyone who doesnt get to go.
